[...] talked about invoices above, but paper invoices are just about obsolete. You’ll have to find the right type of software to use for creating and managing invoices, plus you’ll want to make sure that it’s a program [...]

Simply Invoice : Reasonably easy to use the program. Has slight issue if you post incorrect payments and delete it as it won’t clear from system. The support after you purchase is extremely bad : No replies to emails, No reply when phoning and after 1st call the phone must recognise the number and it gives you an instant unavailable message. Try another option.

People really want to understand which product they should pick and why. Would be good to have a list of criteria and see how all these products are positioned (pricing, ease of use, features, send-by-post options…). It’s time to educate the SMEs about these offerings.

Also what about international users? eSlip is one of the new services out there that targets us specifically. http://www.eslip.com

    Thanks anyway,

If you’re worried about storing your financial data on someone else’s web server there are plenty of good desktop invoice packages. I currently use SliQ Invoicing Plus which is quick and easy but I have used online services too and found Invoicera very good but the monthly costs stack up after a while whereas with Sliq there’s a one-time fee.

I think most convenient and natural way is to deal with all finance problems as in real life: with paper and pencil, but on Mac. See Numeric Notes application for details: numericnotesapp.com

    Hi everyone.
Web Invoice also does a great job in Invoicing, creating statements, managing inventory, and a whole lot more including scheduled mass Emailing, SMS and Phone calling to who ever owes you money or to just send appointment reminders.
I think it works great for any one who has a small to medium sized service business..

It can be hosted for you or you can install it on your PC.

    Hi,

Invoice-Club has just started-up in the UK.

Haven’t found a solution that offers so much free usage – I mean, to have as many as 10 customers with unlimited invoicing – come-on there must be a catch – truth is there isn’t.
Check it out – it’s fun to use and reliable.
